Lexip has turned to Kickstarter to make its eponymous gaming mouse, which features two full joysticks, a reality.
Those who play vehicle sim games know that you can never have too many control axes. The Lexip gaming mouse has been created by Pixminds in Paris led by Hugo Loi.
Both left and right versions of the mouse will be offered to cater for all gamers. The other joystick is hidden inside the mouse and operated by tilting the mouse with your palm.
The joystick on the side of the mouse boasts full precision +/- 30 degrees in all directions where as the palm-operated joystick offers full precision +/- 20 degrees. Add to that an 8,200 DPI laser sensor and 150ips/30g acceleration. There are also three zones of full RGB lighting using LEDs.
Lexip’s Kickstarter surpassed its initial €25,000 goal in 25 minutes, and has now accrued over €100,000 of funding. That amount has unlocked one stretch goal adding swappable cables and thumbstick caps to the Lexip mouse’s feature list.
Lexip estimates that the mouse is currently about 80% done and is confident it will be able to ship in June of this year. The mouse can currently be bought by backing it on Kickstarter through a package that is €99 or higher and will ship globally.
