LG has unveiled its first notebook capable of displaying 3D content such as movies, and games. The A510 integrates an 15.6-inch LCD with LED backlighting and 1920×1080 resolution. The use will need to wear polarized glasses to view the 3d content powered by NVIDIA’s GeForce discrete graphics.
Customers can choose from several processors, ranging from Intel’s Core i3-series up to the quad-core i7-840M running at 1.86GHz. The notebook also supports up to 4GB of memory, a 640GB HDD, and a Blu-ray drive.
LG plans to ship the notebook initially in Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Africa starting in October. Pricing and North American launch dates have yet to be announced.
