THQ has announced that Lock’s Quest, a new original adventure title exclusively for Nintendo DS, has shipped to retail outlets throughout North America. Lock’s Quest utilizes the Nintendo DS stylus to deliver a gaming experience that blends action, adventure, strategy and building simulation with a fun and memorable storyline.
Lock’s Quest allows players to assume the role of young hero Lock as he defends his homeland from the imminent attack of robotic invaders. As an Archineer–part architect, part engineer–Lock uses his skills to construct defenses to protect the energy-providing Source Artifacts from the invading forces. Offering two fast-paced modes of play, Lock’s Quest allows players to build and battle in order to defend their virtual homeland. Players must use different strategies to build structures inside the village and construct necessary defensive items, including walls, weapons and traps to prepare for upcoming invasions.
Lock’s Quest was developed by 5TH Cell, the creators of Drawn to Life, one of the top selling original properties developed for Nintendo DS in 2007. Lock’s Quest has the ERSB rating of E for Everyone and is now available for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
