Logitech has officially launched three new cases for the iPad Air and the iPad mini. The new products include the Logitech Hinge (US$59.99 for iPad Air, $49.99 for iPad mini), the rugged Logitech Big Bang (US$99.99 for iPad Air, $79.99 for iPad mini), and the Logitech Turnaround (US$59.99 for iPad Air, $49.99 for iPad mini).
Leading these is the Big Bang, which merges a compact folio design with shock-absorbing material; Logitech claims the case can survive drops from as high as 1.4m, or about 4.6 feet. The front and back are also covered with liquid-resistant materials.
The Turnaround is more fashion-oriented and less durable, but includes a rotating frame, allowing people to prop up an iPad in portrait mode as well as landscape. The Hinge is even simpler, the main selling point being its namesake, which lets people prop up an iPad in landscape mode at any angle within a 50-degree range.
Logitech has also updated the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, its magnetically-attached keyboard cover. The new model is thinner and lighter, and sports a new slot that lets an iPad sit at multiple angles instead of just one.
