The comics anthology to benefit victims of Orlando’s Pulse nightclub tragedy – Love is Love – has made the the New York Times’ bestseller list for graphic books. So far the project has raised more than $165,000 for the cause, according to its publishers – IDW and DC Comics.
“I am overwhelmed by the response to ‘Love is Love,’ ” Marc Andreyko, the book’s curator and project organizer, said in a statement about the new figures.
Love is Love features a ton of top comics talent, as well as such celebrity contributors as Patton Oswalt and Taran Killam, plus “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins, who wrote the foreword.
The anthology is heading into its fifth printing, per IDW.
The 144-page anthology, a team-up between IDW Publishing and DC Comics, features a striking array of one- and two-page comics.
