Update: Apple’s System Status page now displays issues with the App Store, Apple TV, iTunes U, iTunes Store, Volume Purchase Program, and Mac App Store. We have verified that we could update apps on both the iOS and Mac Apps stores.
The Apple’s online store fronts for iBooks, iTunes, Apple TV are unable processing sales at the time of this posting. The same holds true for iOS and MAcOs App stores. devices Beside being unable to make purchases, users cannot install updates to apps they already own.
Affected customers are getting a popup message that reads:
“The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later.”
