ABC has announced that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return with its seventh and final season on Wednesday May 27th.
Executive producer Jed Whedon has posted a teaser for the new season on his Instagram page, though the clip just shows the sixth season finale’s final moments – with the Phil Coulson LMD waking up and greeting his teammates.
The show wrapped production on its final season last summer, long before the coronavirus pandemic shut much of the industry down. The season begins with our heroes having been transported back to 1920s New York City.
It has also been confirmed that Enver Gjokaj will reprise his Agent Carter role of Daniel Sousa in the final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
