Holt McCallany (Mindhunter) and former The Sopranos regulars Vincent Pastore and Steven Van Zandt are all set to team for the Johnny Greenlaw-directed dark mob comedy Iron Terry Malone at Creative Alley Productions, All Things Creative and Brazen Giant Productions.
John Doman, Bill Sorvino, Maureen Van Zandt and Gary Pastore co-star in the film in which McCallany plays a local mobster named Mean Mike who, in order to save his favorite bar from closing, teams with owner Harry Moffet (Doman) and five regulars to kill off the town beggar and drunk Terry Malone (Pastore). It soon proves harder than they first imagined.
The story will be shot around many of the same locations as Elia Kazan’s classic On The Waterfront and is set largely in Hoboken, New Jersey. Christian Keiber and Robert John Keiber penned the script and filming begins in November with Kerry McGann, Bill Sorvino, Johnny Greenlaw, Jason L. Koerner and Bryce C. Campbell producing.
