Mega Man X2 has arrived on the Wii U Virtual Console service.
The classic SNES action game joins its predecessor Mega Man X – as well as the first four Mega Man NES titles – on the Nintendo eShop. Mega Man X2 sees the return of Mega Man X, who is tasked with tracking down the remaining rogue Reploids to an abandoned factory where they are continuing their rebellion.
Players take control of Mega Man X and guide him through eight stages in his search to gain the powers of the remaining mavericks. The game has been available on Wii Virtual Console since May 2012.
