Following the release of his That Awkward Moment earlier this month, writer/director Tom Gormican is getting ready to re-team with leading men Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. TheWrap reports that both actors have signed on to headline a currently-untitled heist thriller at Warner Bros. that Gormican is both writing and directing.
Little is known about the specifics of the new project, although the tone is likened to that of Ocean’s Eleven and the action is said to take place in Macau, China.
Although nothing has been confirmed, Jordan and Teller are still heavily rumored to form one half of director Josh Trank’s The Fantastic Four, which is set for a summer shoot and a June 19, 2015 release.
Aversano Films’ Scott Aversano will produce the Gormican heist project alongside Rat Entertainment’s Brett Ratner and John Cheng. Jesse Ehrman is overseeing for Warner Bros.
