Microsoft has released its first update for Office for iPad, introducing AirPrint support to all three apps. Word lets users print files with or without markup. Excel gives options to print a whole workbook, a single sheet, or a selected range, and all three apps let users print specific pages or slides.
Some minor additions include an improved AutoFit in Excel, which will let people adjust multiple rows or columns simultaneously. PowerPoint has been given SmartGuides, which let people adjust text, pictures, and shapes with more precision. The overall suite has been cleansed of a variety of bugs.
Microsoft says it is already working on the next series of updates, but has declined to offer a timetable.
