New iPad accessory maker MountMe has developed a multiple-method mounting solution and case bracket for the iPad, allowing it to be positioned or mounted in almost any situation. The Freedom all-in-one carrying and mounting device can be used for both temporary and permanent mounting, as well as a simple positioning stand for portable use.
The kit includes a heavy-duty mounting strap for securing the iPad to a headrest, car visor, leg (for pilots) or other objects. Four suction cups are also included which attach to the bracket portion and allow for mounting on hard surfaces such as glass and refrigerators. There is also the ability to use the provided screws for permanent mounting on a wall or other solid object.
The bracket allows for panning (360 degrees) as well as tilting (90 degrees), and includes a built-in kickstand, which can be used for viewing or typing angles. The case features a quick-release on/off bracket that allows users to easily remove the iPad from the bracket if desired, while still retaining the protective carrying case. The case itself also creates a symmetrical flat back portion so that the iPad can be placed on a flat surface without wobbling.
