MSI is well-known for its gaming series of laptops, motherboards, and graphics cards, but its laptops are also quite formidable in the market. The company’s latest laptop series, the Prestige Series, is specifically designed for business and multimedia customers.
The laptops come in 15- and 17-inch models, both powered by an Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor (2.6 GHz, 3.6 GHz Turbo) on an HM87 chipset and feature an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M. For memory, the 15-inch model has 12 GB (8 GB and 4 GB DDR3L, 1600 MHz), while the 17-inch model has 16 GB (2x 8 GB DDR3L, 1600 MHz). Additional specs for both laptops are in the chart below.

For the display, MSI claimed that these laptops come with its True Color Technology which can calibrate color range, color temperature, and gray level stage to make images look better and more colorful. Both laptops also feature six different display profiles optimized for different scenarios, such as the Gamer profile, which increases brightness, or the Movie profile, which adjusts the contrast for movies.
The laptops are available now, with the 15-inch model priced at $1,199.99 and the 17-inch model at $1,299.99. These are not exactly workhorse laptops, but the specs give more than enough power for anything from office work to games.
