T-Mobile tonight gave firm shipping details for the myTouch 4G. The Android phone will ship on November 3 and will have an official price of $199.99 on a contract.
The myTouch 4G has HSPA+ data access, which theoretically has peak speeds of 14.4Mbps. The phone has a second gene 1GHz Snapdragon, it will be the fastest currently shipping Android phone in the US. It also comes with a five-megapixel, 720P-capable camera. Android 2.2 comes pre-loaded along with T-Mobile’s customized version of Sense UI rather than HTC’s own.
Europeans already have access to the myTouch 4G through the HTC Desire HD, which apart from its different unibody design, the European 3G and HTC Sense are virtually identical.
