The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power star Nazanin Boniadi (Bronwyn) won’t return for the upcoming second season.
Nazanin Boniadi plays Bronwyn, who is a human healer and the mother of Theo (Tyroe Muhafidin). She had a forbidden romance with the elf warrior Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova).
In an Instagram post, which can see below, she states: “stepped away from acting in September 2022, to focus solely on the #WomanLifeFreedom uprising in Iran and to advocate for the people of my homeland who have been risking everything for freedom.”

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 premieres on August 29, 2024. The first season is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
