Nero has introduced Nero Music2Go software, customized for the Nintendo DSi system. The new offering allows users to extend the features of their portable game system to rip and transfer music files from the desktop to Nintendo DSi. Nero Music2Go is the second iteration of the recently announced Nero MobileSync platform, a universal, hardware-agnostic toolkit of fully customizable PC applications for mobile handset, Netbook, gaming console and Ultra-Mobile PC manufacturers.
Nero Music2Go is a dedicated PC companion software for Nintendo DSi, providing simple conversion of music from CDs or from files stored on the PC to AAC (Advanced Audio Coding file format) and transferring it to the Nintendo DSi system – all through an easy and intuitive user interface. In addition, music playback on the PC and accessing detailed song, artist, and album information (powered by Gracenote) completes the offering.
“Users of the Nintendo DSi portable game system can now take advantage of an easy gateway to their favorite music via the PC. Our collaboration with Nintendo underscores the Nero commitment to enjoyment of digital content regardless of device,” said Udo Eberlein, CEO, Nero AG. “Nero Music2Go was built on the Nero MobileSync platform, offering portable device manufacturers a customizable white label platform for device-to-PC connectivity and content management. The ability to enjoy your content anytime, anywhere is an important part of the future of digital content distribution.”
Nero Music2Go for Nintendo DSi is available as a downloadable version at $5.99 USD from www.nero.com/nintendodsi.
