After a huge level of fan demand for it, Netflix has picked up FOX’s cancelled Lucifer TV series for a fourth season.
Based on the Vertigo comics character, Lucifer is the story of the original fallen angel who has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals.
Lucifer was averaging a 0.8 demo rating and 3.3 million total weekly viewers through April 30th. The announcement comes as the streaming giant is still pondering the possibility of continuing the Kiefer Sutherland-led procedural drama Designated Survivor.
