When Netflix revealed it was dropping its Qwikster label for DVD rentals and folding the service back into its main website, one question left unanswered was what happened to plans to offer video game rentals.
It turns out their plans for video games are still up in the air.
Talking with investors earlier this week, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings says the company is still debating whether to move forward.
“We have yet to decide whether or not to offer video game discs,” Hastings said, “The decision will have little financial impact either way.”
Netflix had planned to introduce video game rentals as part of Qwikster, a spinoff of the company’s DVD rental service.
