Indie developer Eclipse Games have announced a new platformer for the Wii U: called Spheroids, it will be released on the Wii U eShop on January 5th.
Spheroids is a 2D platformer with retro graphics (and boy have we seen many of those on the Wii U), featuring 32 levels where players assume the role of “Lucas”, who is trying to save humanity from invading aliens.
No word on pricing, but the developer says that they are planning on making a 3DS version as well at some point in the future.
