No Man's SkyFollowing the recently released PC patch that added support for more hardware and improved frame-rate, Hello Games has released No Man’s Sky update 1.04 on PlayStation 4. Reportedly a 605MB download, the new update fixes bugs, improves stability, and “lots more.” A full list of patch notes isn’t available yet, but some users on Reddit have reported that update 1.04 fixes crashing issues. Others, however, still say the game is crashing on them.

As Hello Games’ Sean Murray revealed on Twitter, less than 1% of No Man’s Sky players have raised support issues, and they’re going to resolve roughly 70% of those issues this week with the patches. “It’s pretty crazy for us how many people are playing,” he added. “And how large a number even 1% of that user base is.”

Before they add new features and improvements to No Man’s Sky, Murray says the team is “is totally focused on customer support right now.”

Hello Games also responded to a user on Reddit about issues with the game on PC, apologizing for any problems and thanking them for their support. They continued:

Please be assured that we are working literally around the clock to resolve the most critical issues for players. We are collating all the data and support requests you have sent, and it is helping us to develop fixes. Sincerely thank you for your help.

Many people have waited so long to play the game, and we know how frustrating it can be to have problems. We hear you, and we humbly request you to wait a bit longer as we try to get these fixes tested and rolled out soon.

They added that the PS4 and PC patch this week “will fix the most urgent and critical issues for all our players,” while another patch next week on both platforms “will help to improve the experience further for players.”
