Nintendo is releasing refurbished 3DS consoles in the US on its own website but the company has no plans to do the same in the UK.
Fans can buy Aqua Blue and Midnight Purple 3DS consoles on Nintendo.com for $129.99 while the consoles can also be purchased with a copy of The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D for $169.98.

According to Nintendo, these authentic Nintendo Refurbished Products are the only refurbished products in the market that have been cleaned, tested, and inspected to meet Nintendo’s high standards.”They come with a one year warranty and although they are guaranteed to be fully functional, they may have minor cosmetic blemishes.
However, don’t expect to be able to buy similar consoles from Nintendo in the UK. “We currently have no plans and have made no announcements for this type of activity in Europe,” a Nintendo UK spokesperson told Eurogamer.
