Paramount has hired Noah Hawley to direct Star Trek 4 per the The Hollywood Reporter
Hawley is best known for his work on FX’s Fargo TV series X-Men-adjacent series Legion TV series on the same network. wHawley made his feature directorial debut earlier this year with Lucy in the Sky, which he also co-wrote.
According to THR, Star Trek 4 is expected to feature Chris Pine as James Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, and Zoe Saldana as Uhura,. Pine’s return is bit of a shock since last year both Chris Hemsworth and him reportedly opted out of the film over salary disputes.
