Nokia recently released an application that allows Windows Phone users to read or write any standard NFC tag. NFC tags can be programmed to initiate different tasks, such as automatic social network checkins, send text messages, or turn on/off Wi-Fi radios.
Nokia NFC Writer is compatible with all Windows Phones and is a free download from the Windows Phone Store.
