ABC has canceled the Gina Rodriguez-led and executive-produced comedy series Not Dead Yet, after its second season.
The show premiered in early 2023 an ABC and was most-watched comedy debut in more than 4 years for the Disney owned network.
Written by Casey Johnson and David Windsor, Not Dead Yet focuses on just single and very sad Nell Stevens (Rodriguez), who works to restart her life after exiting her successful journalistic career to aid her fiancé get his restaurant started. Well they breakup, and now she is back at the bottom writing obituaries. But there is a twist!
Not Dead Yet ‘s axing is not a shocker since its numbers were pretty weak in its first season.
