After one long, we mean long delay, Apple today posted the free Google Voice app for the iPhone (App Store). The app lets users make outbound calls using a Google Voice number at its reduced rates and also supports free outbound messages. Users can also check texts and voicemail with push notifications when either comes in while the app is closed.
The app needs a Google Voice account, which is only available in the US at this time.
