The Witcher 3 will be released on May 19, but reviews are already out and they are overwhelmingly positive. But one thing most reviews mention is that there are some framerate drops on the PS4.
Those who have played the game, including reviewers, all praise the game for its gorgeous visuals and vast game world, but they also mention that the game sometimes struggles to maintain its 30 frames per second frame rate.
Luckily, developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that a patch is already in the works that will reportedly fix the frame rate issues. The patch will be released on the day the game hits the stores; May 19th.
The news was confirmed by CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Momot, who also added that “Framerate will be better once we officially launch the game”
