Palm has released Palm webOS 1.1, which the company hopes will make the Palm Pre the business person’s top choice for a smartphone.
WebOS 1.1 brings several additions to Palm’s support for Exchange ActiveSync, including remote wipe, PIN/password requirements, inactivity timeout and improved certificate handling.
Plus 1.1 release re-enables Palm media sync -so you once again can have seamless access to your music, photos and videos from the current version of iTunes (8.2.1). Now let’s see how long it takes Apple to break again. It might serve Palm better to write an app to handle media than playing this “now it works, now it is broke game” with Apple.
