Pelican Products, a manufacturer of protective accessories and portable lighting systems, has announced the availability of Pelican ProGear Vault Series Cases for the iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display and iPad mini. Each Pelican ProGear Vault Series model features a protective membrane that covers the microphone and speakers, without compromising high-fidelity audio. Each case is composed of an elastomeric copolymer interior for strength and resistance.
Meeting the military standard for drops of a minimum of four feet, the Pelican ProGear Vault cases have a rating of IP54 ingress protection, which defends against extreme weather elements. The CE2180 Pelican ProGear Vault Series case for iPad Air is available in black with gray accents, and light gray with white accents, for $100. The CE 3180 Pelican ProGear Vault Series case for iPad mini with Retina display (compatible with iPad mini) is available in gray, magenta and black for $80.
