Skype updated its Android app recently and added several new capabilities.
The most significant new feature for Android phones is the ability to multitask and maintain video chats outside of Skype though a picture-in-picture view.
Other improvements include faster chat loads, the ability to receive photos from Skype for iPhone, support for formatted text (bold, italic, etc.), and support for Hindi.
Skype for Android is free to download from the Play Store.
