Pioneer in the UK today added a new iPhone and iPod speaker dock with a more distinctive design than the norm. The Kodo XW-NAW1, at less than 3.3 inches thick, is thin enough to mount on a wall. It puts out 30W of stereo audio and has a component video out for TVs.
The NAW1 uses touch-sensitive buttons for its controls and has a stand for those who prefer to rest it on a table. Pioneer is delivering the dock first to the UK, where it will cost £199 ($307) with tax. A US launch is likely in the fall, but Pioneer has not released details for the Kodo XW-NAW1 international release dates.
