Last year Sony announced the PlayStation 4 had sold 50 million units worldwide, and now Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced another sales milestone for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and PS4 & PS VR games.
As of December 3, the PlayStation 4 has cumulatively sold though more than 70.6 million units to consumers worldwide with over 617 million copes of PlayStation 4 games sold at retail stores and in the PlayStation digital store. In addition, The PlayStation VR has sold more than 2 million units worldwide. 150 titles have been released for the virtual reality system with over 12.2 million copies sold worldwide.

Their support, since the launch of the very first PlayStation in 1994, has helped to make PlayStation one of the biggest console gaming networks in the world. Sony’s PlayStation Experience will kick off this Friday in Anaheim, California.
