Sony has announced that its PlayStation Vue television streaming service now has a new Sports Pack upgrade option.
Aside from technophobes and others who are “set in their ways,” the only demographic that streaming services haven’t cracked is sports fans. The new package available with PlayStation Vue brings NFL Redzone, MLB Strike Zone, and the nostalgia engine that is ESPN Classic to the service, along with eleven other channels. You can check out the full lineup at the PlayStation Vue website.
The package will cost $10 monthly, in addition to base package fees. Those range from $44.99 to $74.99 for the Core package and above and feature an array of channels comparable to cable or satellite offerings.
PlayStation Vue works across numerous devices. You can, of course, use it on PlayStation 3 and 4; it’s also available on Roku, Amazon Fire, Google TV, and Apple TV. No console required.
