Cloud Engines’ PogoPlug network drive sharing device is now available in a new version, as the PogoPlug Pro. The major changes from the standard version are its black case and a built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi radio. The box can stream content to a PS3 or Xbox 360 as well as other devices while still connecting external hard drives to the Internet.
The PogoPlug Pro is compatible with either Macs or PCs. Users can access the content of connected drives through the PogoPlug by a desktop program or free dedicated apps for the iPhone, iPad, Android or BlackBerry handsets.
The PogoPlug Pro is available exclusively in Best Buy stores and costs the same $99 as the regular, Wi-Fi-less PogoPlug.
