pokemon sunFans are now excited for the release of the upcoming “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” games. Now, new reports are claiming that it is possible for both Pokémon games to feature the scraped “Pokémon Cry Translator” that was originally planned to be included in “Pokémon X” and “Pokémon Y.”

In 2013, Junichi Masuda of Game Freak revealed that he wanted to include a “Pokémon Cry Translator” feature for the “Pokémon X” and “Pokémon Y” games to allow players to comprehend the cries of their Pokémons.

Speaking to Nintendo Life recently, Junichi Masuda said that it is possible for “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” to feature the said “Pokémon Cry Translator” after it failed to make it in “Pokémon X” and “Pokémon Y.” According to reports, the large roster of Pokémon game is said to be the main reason why the feature was not implemented as it will take so much time for the game developers to complete. In other words, the creators of the “Pokémon X” and “Pokémon Y” games will be needing to input a large amount of data for each pocket monster should the “Pokémon Cry Translator” be included in the games.

Aside from that, there is a high probability that the Pokémon nature system will be affected as it needs to be expanded 25 times larger to appropriately sculpt Pokémons’ personality and natural instincts. Plus, different metagame for Pokémon could also be set when using the ‘Pokémon Cry Translator.”
Additionally, game players will be called as pet owners, instead of the usual competitive Pokémon battles, if the said feature will be included in the upcoming “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” games.

Despite the fact that this feature will be needing so much time and attention, Junichi Masuda is very much positive that this “Pokémon Cry Translator” will be implemented in the upcoming games. Also, game developers of are reportedly including new Pokémon creatures, mega evolutions and new systems and content. “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” are slated for release in Holiday 2016.
