Privus Mobile has upgraded its Android application to include its Reverse Call Lookup feature for free, allowing Privus Mobile customers to get more out of their service at no extra charge. By downloading the Version 1.60 upgrade, Privus Mobile on Android now has the power for the user to input any complete phone number and quickly receive the person’s or company’s name registered to the number. It’s a complement to the original Mobile Caller ID service that allows you to see the full caller details of incoming calls, from numbers that aren’t in your contacts list, as the call comes in.
To celebrate the free upgrade, MobiHand is having a sale, now through Aug. 31, on a 3-month Privus Mobile subscription for Android. For a limited time, Android owners can receive three months of Privus Mobile’s Caller ID and Reverse Call Lookup for $6.95, nearly 60 percent less than the original cost.
“We’re excited to provide Android phone owners with the opportunity to have the best that Privus Mobile has to offer at such an affordable rate -“ two great services for less than the price of one,” said Greg Smith, Privus Mobile’s president. “Many Privus Mobile customers on Android phones rave about the Caller ID functionality. This upgrade gives them a feature they can share with friends or use with their home phone. Let’s say a strange number keeps calling your friend’s cell phone, and since she doesn’t have Privus Mobile, she can’t identify who’s calling. With this feature, you can punch in the number and figure out who’s on the other line. Privus Mobile’s real-time Caller ID and Reverse Call Lookup are great features to have on your phone.”
Since its launch in 2008, Privus Mobile has helped smartphone owners better manage their calls. In addition to MobiHand, the Privus Mobile application can be purchased from the Android Marketplace, PrivusMobile.com and almost anywhere mobile applications are sold, including Handmark, Handango and Mobile2Day. Privus Mobile is available for Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Symbian and Android devices as well as Privus Mobile’s iPhone application, iPrivus.
