Burlington, North Carolina-based Actos Games, the creator of APEXICON – Fantasy Puzzle Combat, has returned with the recently announced Wii U exclusive psyscrolr, a platformer that features a strong narrative, epic boss battles and mini-epic mid-boss battles with integrated puzzle mechanics.
Players take on the role of the Scrolr, a young boy with psychic powers who is assisted on his journey by the Narrator, a character represented as a disembodied voice. psyscrolr is being designed around the Wii U hardware, most notably the GamePad’s touch screen, which can be used to unleash the Scrolr’s deadly slash attacks and powerful blasts of psychic fire. Currently, psyscrolr is currently planned for a November or December release. In the meantime, check out the video below to see what it’s like.
