The Equalizer reboot is moving forward at CBS.
CBS has officially ordered a pilot of the rebooting of the classic 1980s CBS series The Equalizer with Queen Latifah as its star and a producer.
The original four-season series starred British actor Edward Woodward as Robert McCall, a former covert operations officer for a U.S. intelligence service who tried to atone for his sins by using his extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.
The property was recently made into two films, starring Denzel Washington as McCall, in 2014 and 2018.
