Director Rob Cohen (xXx, The Fast and the Furious) will write and helm a film adaptation Everette Hartsoe’s 1990s urban vigilante comic Razor.
Razor is the alter ego of Nicole Mitchell, whose police detective father was killed by a local crime lord. Traumatised by his death, she dedicates her life to getting revenge – unaware her sister, whom she believes also dead, has become an assassin working for the man responsible.
The character has appeared in a number of comic book series since her debut, including The Crow.
Number 11 Films will finance the film with Jeff Most to produce.
