Rob Zombie’s best film The Devil’s Rejects is now looking to be getting a sequel.
Bloody Disgusting reports that Zombie is confirmed to be directing a follow-up to the 2005 film, which itself was a part sequel/part spin-off of his 2003 debut movie House of 1,000 Corpses.
That said, the film is relatively standalone and follows Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis (Bill Moseley), and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) with the characters ultimately driving into a shootout in which they all perish.
Specifics of the story are unclear at this point be it whether it’s a direct sequel, prequel, spin-off or something else. Zombie has been teasing a return to the franchise for over a year now, but hasn’t confirmed until this week.
