With a box office of only $14 million during a five-day opening with a budget of just under $100 million, Lionsgate’s recently released Robin Hood may be the biggest blockbuster bomb of 2018 reports The Wrap.
With a global launch of just $22.8 million by the end of its first five days, the film had the worst start for any film this year with a budget of $90 million or higher and looks to be on track to be the biggest flop of this kind since last year’s decidedly more costly $175 million epic King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
The foreign box office isn’t saving the film either, the movie’s home in the UK only pulled in $1.7 million in its opening weekend.
Well Liongate has Madea, Hellboy and John Wick coming 2019, so the future box office take look much brighter .
