Rogue Amoeba has updated its capture program Audio Hijack to version 3.3, which brings significantly improved handling of AAC and Apple Lossless recording, increasing the reliability of the files in case of signal disruption, loss of power, or other issues.
The update also provides for latency slider aimed at musicians and podcasters who have difficulty if any echo in the monitoring of recordings is heard. In addition, the free 3.3 update supports the recording of phone calls just added to office chatroom software Slack.
The program offers a free trial and tutorials, and costs $49 (or $25 for previous-version upgraders).
