Earlier this week we reported news that Weed Road and Paramount Pictures had come to a new deal, which includes helping develop and produce the movie adaptation of Tom Clancy’s 1999 novel Rainbow Six.
Now, Deadline says loose talks have taken place with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds to play Clancy’s darker mercenary hero character John Clark.
The original novel revolves around Ex-Navy SEAL Clark who becomes head of an international task force to combat terrorism. The team quickly is confronted by a series of international incidents.
