Samsung has announce two new cameras.
First is the ST6500, which revolves around a unique angled shape. The body hugs the 5X lens and is designed for a more ergonomic grip than the usual block-like camera design.
Along with its contours, the ST6500 centers on a sharp 16-megapixel sensor as well as a three-inch touchscreen that controls most of the camera’s settings. Samsung gives it the usual options for fully automatic scene detection as well as a blemish-removing portrait mode and 720p video recording.
A more traditional camera is following along in the ST30. It targets the entry level with a 10-megapixel sensor in a very small body and a 3X (though 28mm wide-angle) zoom lens. Its movie recording resolution hasn’t been given out, but it still keeps the portrait mode.
Both cameras will be available in March, starting at $100 for the ST30 and moving up to $230 for the ST6500.
