Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Note lineup to include a 10.1-inch tablet. The Note 10.1 integrates a 1280×800 display that appears to match the Galaxy Tab 10.1 panel, though the new model jumps from a 1GHz chip to a 1.4GHz dual-core processor to match the five-inch Note.
The Note 10.1 keeps the same two-megapixel front-facing camera as its smaller counterpart, however the larger tablet steps down from an eight-megapixel camera to a three-megapixel shooter with autofocus and flash for the back panel.
The company has reworked the original S Note and S Planner apps to run on Android 4.0 and take advantage of the larger display. Both sizes enable users to take advantage of stylus input for input via the optional S Pen accessory.
Samsung has yet to disclose pricing details or a launch date for the Galaxy Note 10.1
