Samsung started the week by confirming that it had shipped one million Galaxy S phones in the US. The tally includes the combined numbers for AT&T’s Captivate and T-Mobile’s Vibrant and took 45 days to reach. It doesn’t yet include the Epic 4G, which reaches Sprint tomorrow, or the Fascinate, which reaches US Cellular and Verizon sometime in the fall.
Samsung billed the results as “instant success” and expected more markers in the future.
