Verizon announced today that Samsung’s Galaxy Note II is now available for purchase online and will be in stores starting tomorrow. Verizon customers can pick up the hot-selling phone-tablet hybrid for $300 with the activation of a new two-year contract. Verizon carries the Note II in two color models, Marble White and Titanium Grey.
The Galaxy Note II features a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 4 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display outputting at 1280×720. Its main distinguishing factor, however, is the digitizer S Pen that accompanies the device, allowing users access to a range of stylus-driven capabilities and features.
With its arrival on Verizon, the Galaxy Note II is now available on all of the major US carriers. The handset debuted to considerable critical acclaim, which has been followed by rapid sales, with Samsung announcing that it had sold five million units in the time since its release.
