Slightly larger than a roll of camera film, Scosche Industries’ tiny BoomCan portable speaker is designed to give a little “oomph” to the tiny and tinny speakers found on mobile phones, tablets, iPods, gaming devices, netbooks and other mobile devices. Available in four colors, the 2.5-inch tall, two-inch wide speaker uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a 40mm driver and can be daisy-chained to other BoomCans for additional fullness of sound.
The speaker is pitched for convenience where either space or carrying space is at a premium — small offices, dorm rooms or outdoor use where it can be stored in a backpack or purse. The BoomCan plugs into the 3.5mm jack on portable devices and works for up to seven hours. The battery can be recharged using a mini-USB to USB connector (included) and includes a travel pouch.
