Once upon a time, the idea of sentient technology was locked firmly the pages of far-fetched, future-shock tales.
Well, the future is now. Such robots now exist. And… they like to watch movie trailers, apparently.
In anticipation of the new sci-fi horror film Morgan (which we’ve been covering plenty) two of the world’s most advanced robots – magicLab’s EDI (Electronic Deceptive Intelligence) and the University of Pisa’s FACE (Facial Automation for Conveying Emotions) viewed the trailer for the “bad seed” bio-horror bloodbath.
This is their reaction…
Morgan stars Kate Mara as a corporate troubleshooter sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.
The movie also stars The Witch‘s Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Paul Giamatti. To learn more about the robots above, go here.
