Universal Pictures now has an international trailer for their controversial action-thriller The Hunt, one with a bunch of new footage and a tonal change making the film has a less dark and edgy feel..
The film’s story focuses on twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen to be hunted for sport by a group of globalist elites.
Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, Ike Barinholtz, Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Amy Madigan and Glenn Howerton co-star in the film which famously underwent a bunch of controversy over its release last year, only to be recently put back on the schedule for a March 13th theatrical run.
The Hunt is written by Lindelof and his fellow Watchmen collaborator Nick Cuse and is directed by Craig Zobel (Z for Zachariah, The Leftovers). Blum produces for his Blumhouse Productions alongside Lindelof. The film is executive produced by Zobel, Cuse and Steven R. Molen.
The film will be released on March 13.
