Signal is adding a new tool that lets users blur faces in photos before sharing them. When activated, it automatically detects faces and blurs them. It also lets you manually blur any part of the photo, to cover faces the automatic tool may have missed, or mask other identifying information.
This adds to the privacy tools to the communications app which is know for it privacy and security. The update with this featureshould be available soon. Signal says the feature was rolled out to support people who are currently self-organizing, marching, and protesting against racism and police brutality in the US.
